Catching up on life and sharing a new planner post

Hi again all my crafty friends. It's been a whirlwind here lately! The first Rocky Mountain Creative Retreat is over and was a huge success! After reading our feedback surveys from our guests, we learned some great things moving forward for next year's retreat (stay tuned for details on that) and we also learned how much everyone enjoyed the classes we offered and the beautiful location. I will creating a recap video of the fun weekend and share the projects we made, so watch for that soon. If you aren't already subscribed to my YouTube channel and you don't want to miss any new videos, be sure to hop over there and hit the subscribe button and the notification bell.

Meanwhile, I've just been down to Florida to surprise my Dad on his 80th birthday this past weekend. With the help of my sister, we pulled off the surprise perfectly and he was so shocked and happy to see Paul and I show up with the rest of the family at a restaurant where he and my Mom were having lunch. It was a quick but great weekend! And let me tell you, my Dad is the healthiest guy I know. At 80 he is showing no signs of slowing down. Still mowing their huge yard in Florida, shoots pool with friends, belongs to a Corvette club (my parents have 2), works out every single day, eats super healthy and is a fantastic photographer.

Now that I'm back and settled in somewhat, I've got a planner post on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today that you won't want to miss if you are behind in your scrapbook/planner like I am. I show how I made five 2-page layouts in an afternoon with some helpful tips and methods that make it go quickly. Hope you get a moment to check it out. Here's a few teaser photos below. The supply list as well as the video is on the ECD blog when you get there.
