Blog Winner & My Top 10 Mini Album

Hello and happy Saturday all. First things first, by random drawing
the winner of my blog give-away is...

Tamara Churchill

Congrats Tamara and thank you ALL for your nice comments. Tamara, please e-mail your complete mailing address to AnnetteGreen@me.com and I'll be sure to ship out your goodies first thing Monday morning.

Next up, I wanted to share my Tim Holtz inspired mini album that I taught to my All Things Tim Club yesterday. Each month I create and teach a project using all sorts of fun Tim Holtz techniques and products. I've been on a mini album roll this month, so thought a Top 10 album would be fun.

"Top 10 what?" you ask?

Here are some ideas...

Places to Travel or Have Traveled
People I'd Like to Meet
Things I'd Like to Do (Bucket List)
Things I Love About You
Favorite Friends
Moments in my Life
Moments this year
Favorite Things
Things I'm Thankful For
Favorite Places to Eat

This mini is filled with random designs and pages featuring some of my favorite techniques from Ranger University 2013. The cover features grungeboard, kraft resist, Pediments die-cuts, and the new ruler binding.

Here are the inside pages and their techniques (before I bound the album)...

Distress Stain Brayering on Pediments. Distress Stain on Kraft Resist (background).

Distress Stains Mixed Metallic.

Distress Stain on Kraft Resist, and Distress Paint using the new Stamper's Anonymous stencils.

Painting with Distress Stains using the Water Brush onto Kraft Resist cardstock.

Distress Ink Perfect Distress.

Distress Ink Smudge Stamping. (I snuck some Graphic 45 paper in the background.)

Peeled Paper technique taught by Claudine Helmuth, incorporating Distress Paints.

Perfect Pearls Painting technique. Hard one to see in a photo, but really cool effect.

Embossed Foil, using Distress Paints.

Ghosting technique taught by Dyan Reaveley using Dylusions spray inks and new Stamper's Anonymous stencils.

Distress Stain on Kraft Resist.

Stamping on Specialty Stamping Paper and coloring with Distress Markers. Embossed and distressed kraft-core cardstock. Distress Paint Industrial Metallics (key).

Back cover using paper from Crowded Attic paper stash.

Simple pages with lots of techniques. This class ended up taking a little over 5 hours, but it was great fun! Hope you've enjoyed it and maybe been inspired to create a mini album or project using Ranger products and techniques. Check out the Ranger blog for videos and tons more inspiration. It's packed full of great things.
