Something else for Dad

My dad's birthday is tomorrow, June 11th. He'll be 68 years young. He's healthy, has a great sense of humor and works very hard. He's also a pretty creative guy. Ever since I can remember, he's worked in the field of design; freelancing in his office in our basement in Michigan when I was little. Now the president of his own advertising agency since 1984. That's 26 years! So this card is for Dad.

I was inspired not only by a sketch I found online, but also by Tim Holtz and his new book A Compendium of Curiosities. Specifically I used one of his resist techniques. This would be a great card to demo on video because it's so visual in its techniques. That's what I'll be working on this weekend, so watch for that next week. (fingers crossed)

For now, I'll share what products I used to make this card. Items with numbers are Close To My Heart exclusively.

X7126B Passages Level 2 papers and cardstock
