Happy Halloween Card featuring Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hey crafters, are you getting ready for Halloween? It's such a magical, fun time of the year! The Elizabeth Craft Designs' team has some really fun Halloween makes over on their blog today, so I hope you take a moment to go check them out. As for me, I've created this 5 x 7 card featuring products from Elizabeth Craft Designs and Steampunk Spells papers from Graphic 45. Here's a quick tutorial on how to put this card together.

Cut a 5" x 7" card base from orange cardstock. Cut black pattern paper 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". Die-cut the moon paper using ECD's Stitched Indented Rectangles die.

Die-cut pieces from the "Scarecrow" set by Joset. I love this one because you can do different things with the pieces and parts.

Die cut two Berry Branches out of black cardstock, then the 31 tab pieces from Planner Essentials 17 Filmstrip Numbers.

Cut off the top 1/2" area of the black pattern paper piece using this border strip from the Journal Edges set. Save the top piece for inside the card.

Assemble the layers and pieces to each unit. See how fun that scarecrow is?!

Die cut an ivory cardstock tab using Sidekick Essentials 3 set. Stamp or write Happy Halloween.

Trim away pieces from the Berry Branches to work for your card. Add glue to all the berries and sprinkle some Vintage Teal Microfine Glitter. Set aside to dry.

Die cut several leaves from the Pumpkins set, apply glue and sprinkle with Moonbeam Microfine Glitter.

Once the glue and glitter have set, ink the outer edges with red ink.

Adhere the remaining elements to the card front. I've popped up my scarecrow with black foam tape to give it more dimension.

Don't forget the inside of the card too. I love using my scraps from older paper collections rather than hoarding them in the closet. Steampunk Spells is one of my all-time favorite Graphic 45 collections. Your card is now complete. Please enjoy a few close-ups, then head over to the ECD blog to check out more Halloween creations and inspiration.
