Fairie Wings Journal Tutorial Now Available!

I've got a brand new tutorial up in my Etsy Shop for you and it's a biggie! I've created a 6 1/8" x 8 5/8" hard cover, hollow-back bound journal made from Graphic 45's newest Fairie Wings collection. As you can see in the photo, I made two of them. The one on the left in all the photos here is very vintage and shabby, and the one on the right is clean and bright. The beauty is that YOU get to decide how you want to make yours.

If you like vintage/shabby, then you'll want to gather up some vintage looking lace, kraft card stock, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and some Antique Linen Distress Oxide Spray. Get ready to tear paper, create faux tea-stained pages, and give your journal a beautiful, aged look.

If clean/bright is your thing, skip all the inking, tearing and spraying and gather some white cardstock and trims and keep it modern and pretty.

I've included directions to make the pages AND how to hand-stitch this book yourself using the simple 5-hole pamphlet stitch and hollow-back binding technique.

Included in the 17 page tutorial, you'll also get templates for the punching and stitching, as well as the fold-over tab. Please take a moment to watch my video below, as I tell you what supplies you'll need and so you can get a really good look at each style journal. The two journals I created already have sold out in my shop (they went pretty fast!) but you can make your very own with my easy-to-follow, step-by-step directions. There's a photo for every single step to help you along.

After watching the video, visit my Etsy Shop to get YOUR tutorial.
Thanks for watching!

    1. I'm glad to hear it! I like vintage myself, but sometimes clean and bright is a nice change.
