Virtual Open House Preview - Halloween Circle Mini Album

Hello everyone. It's another peek at a project I'll be featuring in my Virtual Open House video coming September 1st. In my video I'll be sharing loads of projects from the new Close To My Heart Autumn/Winter Idea Book as well as an overview of the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge and helpful creative tips using many of the new products.

Today I wanted to share a Halloween circle mini album I created from the Artbooking cartridge. Since CTMH didn't come out with a Halloween themed paper this season, I pulled a paper stack from my stash from last year I purchased at Hobby Lobby. This line is called "Jeepers Creepers" by The Paper Studio.

In my video I'll take you through this mini and show how easy it was to create. It measures 6 inches.

I began by cutting lots of images from the Artbooking cartridge. Whether or not I'll use all these, I didn't know at that moment. I just cut what I thought I'd use and started playing with them. Most of the images are cut at the 6-inch measure to fit the album. Yes, even those smaller pieces. That's something I'll explain in the video.

The Artbooking cartridge has many overlays for each book, layout, or card. This is a good example of one for the Halloween circle album. This was the start of my cover.

I'll take you through a few more photos of the pages and the overlays I used with them.

This mini album was so much fun to make and took me just a few hours. Be sure to watch my Virtual Open House video starting September 1st. I share some tips on this project and many more.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to work on my video. Have a fabulous Labor Day Weekend!
