Pearfect Day for a Give-Away

Today is truly a Pearfect Day! I am celebrating because my following is now at 200 members! Thank you so much for your interest in what I have to say and the projects I create. I appreciate your faithful following and to show just how much, I am feeling super generous today and want to give away a Mayberry Workshop on the Go Kit. This is a $35 prize pack filled with a Mayberry Level 2 paper pack, an exclusive stamp set, a package of our new Canvas Badge Buttons, and the complete Workshop Guide.

How to win?

Leave me a comment on today's post and I'll draw a name tomorrow morning and post that winner on my Frugal Friday blog. If you win, make sure you e-mail me your mailing address.

This Pearfect card I made last night showcases some of the fantastic papers in this Mayberry kit, along with a few of the stamp images. (Pear, flowers, leaves and Pearfect). There are other fruits, a tiny flower, a few phrases and small leaves in this stamp set too.

The ribbon is not included in the pack, but I was trying out a new ribbon technique I learned from fellow CTMH Consultant Connie MacFarlane. Her blog is aptly named Paper Pleats and Ribbon Roses because she is an absolute pro at making the most beautiful ribbon and paper flowers, leaves and so much more. And the best part is that she shares all her techniques through videos and step-by-step photos on her blog. So make sure to check her out.

The ribbon technique I used here is called the Ruched Ribbon Technique and it's not difficult at all. You can check it out on Connie's blog for all the details.

Here's a close-up of my ribbon...

It took just a few minutes to do the stitching that's required across this very long piece of satin ribbon, but when you pull it and it crinkles up perfectly like this, it's SO worth it! I love how it turned out.

Let me know what you think. And thanks again for stopping by. Good Luck!

  4. I love your blog and stop by everyday. Congrats on getting 200 followers! This card is amazing as usual-I would love to win the Mayberry kit so I could copy it! LOL. I saw a picture on your blog recently where your dog fell asleep on a paper packet under your desk. I had to laugh! I finally had to move a dog bed under my desk! My older dog prefers the couch in the room next to my scraproom, but the other one (the baby) comes in everyday and now sleeps in his new bed under my desk. Keep up the great job!
